Created as part of the restructuring of the ship repair sector initiated by the Senegalese government in the 1990s, DAKARNAVE was born from a partnership between Senegal and the Portuguese group LISNAVE INTERNACIONAL, a global leader in shipbuilding and repair. In 1999, DAKARNAVE signed an exclusive operating contract for the Dakar Shipyards for an initial term of 25 years. Since then, the company has committed to modernizing infrastructure, training Senegalese personnel, and adopting international quality and safety standards.

Thanks to the expertise of its shareholder and rigorous management, DAKARNAVE is now a leading player in West Africa, offering comprehensive ship repair, maintenance, and conversion services.
