It was within the framework of the restructuring of the ship repair sector launched in the 1990s by the Senegalese State that the LISNAVE GROUP won the tender to operate the shipyards of Dakar.
A company created by LISNAVE INTERNACIONAL, an internationally renowned group, DAKARNAVE signed a contract in 1999 with the Senegalese government, represented by SIRN, for the exclusive operation of the Dakar shipyards for an initial period of 25 years. According to its corporate purpose and within the framework of the agreements included in the shipyard concession contract signed with DAKARNAVE, SIRN was responsible for the rehabilitation of the Dakar shipyards. This was carried out thanks to financing from the AFD (French Development Agency) granted in the form of a loan, amounting to €10.8 million and for a period of 19 years, the repayment of which is covered by a specific portion of the royalty paid by DAKARNAVE.
End of the concession and signing of an amendment extending the concession until February 2025.
Extension of the 2nd amendment until February 28, 2026.
